From Traditional Chinese Medicine to working as at one of the world's leading cancer research facilities, Dr. Hu has over 25 years experience in the medical field, bringing unparalleled experience and knowledge to the holistic treatment of all her patients.

The Western school

In 1987, Dr. Hu began her journey of healing by earning a M.D. from West China University of Medical Sciences (now known as Sichuan University) and practicing medicine from remote villages to one of the largest cities in China.

After practicing for nearly a decade, Dr. Hu joined the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 1995 in continuing to pursue her passion for helping people and Western medicine.

After 15 years working in the Western medical field, Dr. Hu felt a calling to treat patients in a more natural and empathetic way and decided to change career paths into Traditional Chinese Medicine. Earning a degree from Bastyr University, she began practicing as a licensed acupuncturist in 2000. 

With an unceasing drive for education and finding the best way to help people on their healing journey, Dr. Hu returned to school to earn a third degree, this time a Ph.D from Liberty University in 2007.
